K, this is a difficult topic to talk about. I have noticed that the Guild is becoming less and less active in group chats and helping each other with a difficult situation while questing. I can personally say that Mm and Murwyn ,(who hate each other), have been guilty of being non-sociable due to heavy leveling on Murwyn's part. NO EXCUSES.. JUST GUILTY…. Personally I think we need to get back to the basic idea of the game which is being sociable to all Guildies and not just your own little clicks. (again, of which I’m guilty). Any and all feedback is always appreciated whither you agree or disagree.. Cya in the Realm.. L8R… Mm

For a variety of reasons, I have decided that it's time to give someone else a chance as Guildmaster. Today's meeting outlined my reasons and we discussed how to go forward with this as a guild.

It was decided that we'd hold an election on the 6th of July to determine the new GM. I'll be taking nominations in-game until Friday, June 27th; you can either whisper your nomination to me while I'm online or send it via the game's mail system.

On June 29th, at 11 am server time, we'll hold a debate for the nominees to see where they stand on various issues. This meeting will likely also serve as a Q&A session.

On Election Day, we'll hold an official meeting at 11 am server time for voting and to decide the outcome. Those of us who won't be able to attend this meeting can still participate in the election by sending their vote to me through in-game mail between July 3rd and 5th (Thursday through Saturday).

For more information, including an updated list of nominees, check out the Guild Information when you log in. =)

Sorry for the belated reply… =(

Although you can certainly level with any talent spec (especially now that characters gain more XP between 20 and 60 than they used to), from what I've read the Feral tree is somewhat faster to level. This is largely due to reduced downtime for mana regen - unless you get into a massive fight and you need to spend a lot of time healing during combat, you should end most fights with almost a full mana bar.

For Cucumber, I keep Mark of the Wild and Thorns active constantly. My typical opener is Faerie Fire to reduce the target's armor and then I shift either cat or bear (depending on the mob type). For clothies I use cat. For groups and pretty much everything else I wear them down with bear.

After a fight I heal as needed and continue on my merry way. =)

KK, I've been working on leveling up Murwyn about 70% of my Realm Time. I'm not sure which way to take him with his specs. I really like the idea of being a healer / fighter. Mm of course is a fighter / semi-healer. Murwyn is a work in progress. His fighting abilites are best at a distance. I really enjoy using the "Tangle, MoonFire, Swarm, Storm" combination. By the time the enemy is free to attack you, his/her health is nearly down to half or less. Once they attack, my "Thorns and Mark of Wild" easily weakens them more… If Murwyn has any weakness, it's that he eats alot of Manna quickly and regenerates it slower than I would like. If you have any suggestions, please chime in… Cya all in the Realm. L8R. Mm

f u cn rd ths, u cn ndrsnd "TYPE SPEAK"..
Quite often when you are in a hurry, you will abbreviate many if not all of the words. I have seen many variations of the same words, and each time I am amazed at the creative mind of people who multi-task. Remember, it's not about winning quick, it's about joining togather and accomplishing a task while having fun. I'm sure each of us has limited time to spend on the Realm and we want to get to the next level before we log off for the night. But missing out on the laughs and jokes and fun stories or learning a new way to accomplish your goals will burn you out. In short take time to look at the graphics once in a while. Explore somewhere new. Make new friends that have the same quests and are about the same level as you. Your play time will be more fullfilling and you will get more for the money you spend each month on gaming. See you all soon. Mm

I've been trying to go back to the basics and increase my Rep in Ironforge and with The Argent Dawn. Killing the undead has allways fun because I have a thing for Zombies… LOVE THEM ZOMBIE MOVIES….. For the next few weeks, you can catch me in the Plague Lands and in Iron Forge. Stop by and say hi… Mm

Mm's Corner of the Realm by MmQuijiboMmQuijibo, 27 Mar 2008 13:47

We are getting together a preliminary Naxxramas raid on Feb 29th at 7 pm. You will have to be attuned for it. If you are not exalted with Argent Dawn, it will cost you some gold.

More information: http://www.wowwiki.com/Naxxramas

Colter is leading the raid.

I will post more information as it develops.

So, why run Nax? Well, many people in this server have not run the larger instances. There is a good chance that with the next expansion, this version of Nax will be changed. It appears that the citadel will be moving to Northrend.

Although it is designed for 40 level 60 people, it has been run with 20-25 level 70's. I suspect it will be difficult to get a full group of 40 people. So, if you are in your 60's, you are welcome to come. The more the merrier.

Today's meeting was basically focused on getting ready for Karazhan. Griffino has created a nice summary that will get updated over time:

Karazhan

Thanks for all those that made it.

Guild Meeting 2/17/08 by khronoskhronos, 18 Feb 2008 03:33

We're soooo glad to be able to keep you, Standing! I can't wait to see you running about the Outland blasting mobs/horde into oblivion! There's a video on YouTube I really think you should watch that involves exactly that:

Almost makes me wish I played in the battleground…almost.

Re: What's Up by CyanbladeCyanblade, 11 Dec 2007 10:59

On a critical hit the talent refunds 10% of the mana it cost to cast the spell that struck a critical hit. So, if it costs 100 mana to cast a particular spell, it will return 10 mana to you on a critical hit.

Re: Master of Elements by CyanbladeCyanblade, 11 Dec 2007 10:54

In the mage fire spec talent page there is a talent called "Master of Elements" it says "your fire and frost spell criticals will refund 10% of their base mana cost" but there shouldn't be a mana cost to a spell critical should there?? please tell me what you think this talent does.

Hey, I was trying to quit this server but I just couldn't leave my carpe orcium family. I was too close to entering the outland that I just could not delete StandingTall. So the good news is that I will be playing as StandingTall, the bad news, I have deleted all my other characters (except Crabhammer, my new bank alt) I look foward to questing with everyone while I am out of school.

Yep, I hit lvl 70 a few weeks ago.. Thx Cyanblade for props…Also I'd like to thank each guild member that helps keep the gaming fun while leveling.. Keep the jokes and triva comming!!
There are a few members that have been mentors to me from the beginning and I can never thank them enough…But that's what this is all about; you meet freinds, have laughs, and escape from your RL for a few hours..
I'll be around with my new ALT (Murwynn), so keep an eye out for me.. L8R… Mm

Re: What's Up by MmQuijiboMmQuijibo, 04 Dec 2007 15:42

Guild bank is now up and running. Some issues with people farming it, but hopefully that's taken care of now. Some other issues with lower-levels expecting higher-levels to constantly help them…but that's nothing new, right? A few new members, some more active than others. We were up to 121 members last I checked. Oh, and Standingtall is going to primarily be playing on another server (to play with some school friends) so he's been cleaning out his vault. Mm hit 70 and Odin is climbing the XP ladder, too. That's about it, in game.

How're you doing?

Re: What's Up by CyanbladeCyanblade, 27 Nov 2007 22:59

Real life, new business, new office…. so I have not been playing for about 4 weeks now. Anything new been going on?
